About Michael de Jesus, M.D.

 

Dr. de Jesus joined the practice July of 2006. He is a graduate of Blackhawk High School and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He attended medical school at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay, College of Medicine in the Philippines.

Dr. de Jesus completed his internal medicine residency at Western Reserve Care System Forum Health Youngstown, Ohio, and Gastroenterology fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital Pittsburgh, where he also served as the Chief Fellow of Gastroenterology. He has previously served as a Technical Editor at the Warren G. Magnuson Clinical Centers (National Institutes of Health) in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. de Jesus’ interests are in Obesity and Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, pancreaticobiliary disease, and therapeutic endoscopy. He is board certified in Gastroenterology. Dr. de Jesus is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, and the Pennsylvania Society of Gastroenterology.
